CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS INSTITUTE

The overall mission of CSI is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance.

CSI was founded in 1948 by the specification writers of government agencies who came together to improve the quality of construction specifications.

The Institute grew quickly to include private sector specification writers, design professionals, facility managers, constructors, manufacturers, material suppliers, and more. These construction professionals continue to collaborate today as CSI members to promote education, coordination, and cooperation among all parties in the vast construction industry in order to create outstanding facilities. 

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT CSI —

First and foremost, we love the community CSI Denver offers. The variety of industry professionals involved make our Denver Chapter what it is.

The networking and connection with other industry professionals is endless. We are Chapter Sponsors and are both active on the CSI Denver Chapter board. Steve is the 2022-2023 Chapter President & Hannah is a Director, on the Programs, Marketing, and Emerging Professionals Committees.

NATIONAL WOMEN IN ROOFING

National Women in Roofing is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals.

NWiR provides networking, mentoring, education and industry recruitment opportunities from the rooftop to the boardroom. Through a commitment to connect and empower women in roofing, NWiR members contribute to the overall betterment and professionalism of the roofing industry.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT nwir —

We are extremely fortunate in Colorado to have a huge number of women in the roofing & construction industry. Not only is there a large amount, but there are so many truly quality and genuine people within. We love building relationships with this great community and are thankful to have a local NWiR Chapter. Hannah serves as this year’s 2022 Chair of NWiR Denver & Northern Colorado.

COLORADO ROOFING ASSOCIATION

The Colorado Roofing Association is a non-profit organization established in 1978. Our continued commitment is to promote the ethics, education, and image of the roofing industry throughout the State of Colorado.

The Colorado Roofing Association’s goal is to help homeowners and commercial building owners and managers make informed decisions about replacing and maintaining their roof systems. Their membership includes over 275 roofing contractors, consultants, engineers, manufacturers, distributors, and associated professionals throughout Colorado’s roofing industry.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT the cra —

We love the community the CRA has created and the exceptional education and events they put on throughout the year. They offer hands on training in their own CRA facility for low-slope, steep-slope, coatings, metal & more. They also host a trade show in January that is one of the best we have ever attended. With the huge variety of members within the industry and a wealth of knowledge throughout, it is an organization we are proud to be a part of.
